Dr. John E. Crews Antiques is a complete source of display-ready late eighteenth and early nineteenth antique English boxes at reasonable prices. We offer a wide selection of distinctive, high-quality boxes for beginning and serious collectors, including interior decorators who want to find unique boxes to complete a home’s décor.
In addition to antique English boxes, we have a wide variety of miniature chests, table chests, period inkwells and writing instruments as well as clever Georgian and Victorian items, including go-to-beds, guinea scales, and snuff boxes.
We exhibit every month at Scott’s Antique Market (North Building) in Atlanta, Georgia. We bring about 130 boxes to each show. Visit this page for directions and dates.
Dr. John E. Crews has over 40 years of experience and a lifelong passion for antiques. After retiring from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in 2017, he decided to turn his hobby into a small business--Dr. John E. Crews Antiques.
With his wife, Nancy, who shares his passion for antiques, John began exhibiting antiques — including tea caddies, work/sewing boxes, and writing boxes—at Scott’s Antique Market in Atlanta, Georgia.
